FMC lithium technologies and know-how for
concrete and cementitious systems provide
benefits in increasing the lifespan of a
concrete structure, while also preserving
our individual safety. In any country, the
infrastructure, including highways, roads
and airfields, is one of the biggest investments
and cornerstone of economic health and national
security.
For instance, in the United States by insuring
the longevity of our federal, state and
local infrastructure, we reduce our tax
burden, while supporting all of our general
welfare. Working in cooperation with the
National Science Foundation (NSF), the Federal
Highway Administration (FHWA), the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA), the US Army
Corps of Engineers, the American Association
of State Highway Transportation Officials
(AASHTO) and a large number of bridge, highway
and aviation local agencies, FMC has developed
technologies insuring that concrete structures
meet or exceed their design lives and ensures
public safety. These technologies have also
been tested and shown to be applicable in
a number of other countries such as Canada,
the UK, and Argentina.
